Clarification Text for Processing Personal Data of The Visitors

A) Protection of Personal Data and Data Controller

Your personal data can be processed within the framework of the provisions of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), the arrangements of the Personal Data Protection Authority and other legislations; our hotel takes all of the technical and administrative precautions to ensure appropriate safety level in order to prevent the processing of your personal data illegally, to prevent illegal access to your personal data and preserve them pursuant to the relevant legislation.

KKVK, as the Data Controller of Lionel Hotel Istanbul, can process your personal data for information and the purposes specified herein below in accordance with the legislation under GDPR and the relevant legislation.

B) Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data provided by your to ensure the safety of our hotel and to benefit from accommodation, social activities and internet access opportunities offered by our hotel for the visitors can also be transferred including but limited to carry our operational activities of our hotel, management of access records, fulfilment of our legislative responsibilities, conditions of personal data processing specified in the Article 5 and 6 of the Law No 6698 and notifying your identity information no. 1774 to the official bodies.

C) To Whom Your Personal Data can be Transferred and the Reasons for Transferring Personal Data

Your personal data collected can be transferred to our business partners, shareholders, associates, legally authorised public institutions and private entities being limited to realize the aforementioned objectives within the framework of the conditions and objectives of the data processing specified in the Article 8 and 9 of the Law No. 6698.

D) Method of the Personal Data Collection and Legal Reason

Your personal data is collected by our hotel based on the legal reason specified in the Article (b) and (c) herein above. Your personal data collected within this period is collected by your access to the internet in electronic media within our company; through your identity card, the information on your license plate, orally or via closed circuit cameras in our hotel. The said personal data of yours can be also processed and transferred for the purposes set forth in the Articles (b) and (c) of this clarification text under the conditions and objectives of the data processing specified in the Article 5 and 6 of the Law No. 6698.

E) Your Rights Regarding the Processing of Personal Data

You have the right to

a) learn if your personal data is processed or not;

b) ask for information if your personal data has been processed;

c) learn the purpose of processing your personal data and if this information is used in accordance with the purpose;

d) learn the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred in domestic or abroad;

e) ask for the correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or erroneously;

f) request the deletion or destroy of your personal data within the framework of the conditions prescribed in the relevant article of the law;

g) request the notification of the processes carried out pursuant to the paragraphs (e) and (f) to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred;

h) raise objections to the results arising against the person by analyzing your information processed through automatic systems;

i) claim the indemnification of your loss if you suffer from any losses due to the illegal processing of the personal data
by applying to our company pursuant to the Article 11 of KVKK.
